New Year ! New Me !?
Cheers to the new year ! 2021 ! We have all hated the year 2020, and why shouldn't we? Not only did it take away our freedom to roam about the city and hang out with our people, but also it took away so many talented artists from us. The year 2020 will undoubtedly go down in history as the worst year ever — at least to those of us living in it. It started with Australia on fire, Taal Volcano in Luzon erupts, leading to the evacuation of thousands of people. Outbreak of the most controversial disease of the century COVID - 19. Swarms of locusts had invaded vast swathes of land in India since April 11th this year. Then from the cyclones to the floods, this was a kinda disaster filled year !
Now that we have entered into a new decade 2021 - 2030 we will face more challenges and have more responsibilities. Life will get tougher.
Okay so now I am not gonna lie, but I needed this year since it opened my eyes to a lot of things. Yes, I have changed, I overthink more and talk less, not angry but in pain and realized that friends forever are just friends and self love is the most important thing. As the world paused, nature finally took a breath and we witnessed clear skies after a long time. Yes, I saw suffering and pain that broke hearts. But I also learned survival. 2020 proved that there's no place like home and there's so much strength in unity. Life may get challenging but having loved ones around us surely makes it easier.
I found happiness in the smallest of things from creating something new to trying out New recipes. But I'll forever be grateful to this year for making me realize that work is just a tiny part of life and it's okay to not be productive every day. For showing me the importance of health, both mental and physical. Mental health of thousands of people was badly affected during this period and surely many did lose their friendships by identifying the fake ones who did not turn up at the time we needed them.
Being honesty 2020 was kind of a weird year but for me it was not the worst year. It was worth a few memories and for me the most special ones were making new friends.
So people usually create new year resolutions but we all know resolutions are hard to stick with, and it's easy to feel down about not achieving everything we set out to do, so for this year I want to be kinder to my friends and family and most importantly be kind with myself. So this year there ain't gonna be a new me but the same old me! After all, it's impossible to know what the future has in store for you. So just be yourself do your best and go with the flow !

Superb
